Word Jewels® is a word game that offers a relaxing and enjoyable experience without any time limits. Unlike other word games, there is no need to stress about time constraints. Additionally, you have the flexibility to close the app and return to the same game, allowing you to improve your skills at your own pace. It is currently one of my favorite word games.
As a fan of word games, I was initially hesitant to try Word Jewels, as I was heavily invested in Words with Friends. However, I found the challenge of Word Jewels to be refreshing and engaging.
Word Jewels provides hours of entertainment and the fact that it is free is hard to believe. Many users rave about the game and its addictive nature. 
One of the standout features of Word Jewels is the ability to trace words in any direction, even crossing over your own path. This adds an element of creativity and enhances the gameplay experience.
In addition, Word Jewels does not impose timers, allowing you to take your time to find the best words. The graphics and animations are visually appealing, and the sound effects create a relaxing ambiance.
Another advantage is that you can listen to your own music while playing Word Jewels, enhancing your overall experience.
If you strive for high scores, Word Jewels provides a score summary that showcases your performance. Additionally, you can compare your scores with other players worldwide using Game Center.
The game also includes a vast English dictionary for offline use. With 264,097 words from the YAWL word list, you can ensure the validity of every word you find. Proper nouns are excluded from gameplay, which aligns with most word games' standard rules.
The automagic letter balancing feature prevents being stuck with an excessive amount of consonants or repeated letters. This ensures a balanced and fair gameplay experience.
Word Jewels features improved auto-save functionality, allowing you to interrupt gameplay for a phone call or text without losing progress. This convenience applies to both older and newer iThings.
For those seeking achievements, Word Jewels offers 32 Game Center Achievements to unlock, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to the game.
